Mission And Goals

The Tri-State Arab-American Association of Engineers and Architects (Tri-State AAAEA) Chapter was formed in the fall of 2006 to serve the states of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. The Tri-State AAAEA is a non-profit, non-political, and non-religious organization founded with the goal of bringing together Arab-American Engineers, Architects, and Information Technology professionals studying or working in the fields of Engineering, Architecture, and Information Technology.

Tri-State AAAEA Chapter Mission Statement

  • Assist in establishing training programs, technical seminars, and academic review courses for professional and personal development.
  • Share knowledge and information among Chapter members and with other professional associations.
  • Encourage and promote the members of the Chapter in their respective technical and scientific fields and foster a positive image of members and their accomplishments.
  • Promote guidance and assistance to members, students studying in engineering fields, and recent graduates in the development of their careers.
  • Establish awards and means for recognizing outstanding innovation, design, research, and professional training initiatives in the community.
  • Improve and promote the positive perception of Arab-Americans by providing a forum for strong networking opportunities, enabling members to develop their professional leadership, communication, and management skills as well as their technical skills.
  • Uphold the public welfare wherever engineering knowledge and expertise is involved and act on matters concerning the engineering, architecture, and IT professions.
  • Promote cooperation and mutual understanding among Chapter members.
  • Assist in developing scholarships and grants to encourage qualified and talented Arab-American students to pursue engineering, architecture, and IT careers.
  • Cooperate with other professional associations and/or organizations.
